It means I&#8217;ve acquired an international diploma recognized by the <em>ICF, <\/em>the<em> <a title=\"International Coach Federation\" href=\"http:\/\/coachfederation.org\" target=\"_blank\">International Coach Federation<\/a><\/em>.\u00a0 The recquired professional standards for coaching according to the ICF are at a high level.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.talkaboutscoaching.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/mevr.-W.-Dam.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-28 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.talkaboutscoaching.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/mevr.-W.-Dam-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"mevr. W. Dam\" width=\"86\" height=\"86\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nI believe you can create your life by doing things which make you happy. I have been an English teacher at secundary schools since 2000. I started my company <em>Abouts <\/em>in 2008. I work from the heart. Teaching, guiding and coaching are my passions.<\/p>\n<p>I knew I would create different parts of\u00a0 <em>Abouts<\/em>\u00a0 in time. The first part was <em><a title=\"Walkabouts\" href=\"http:\/\/stadswandelingenamsterdam.com\" target=\"_blank\">Walkabouts<\/a><\/em>,\u00a0 an organisation which provides citywalks, specialized in seven walks in Amsterdam. <em>Walkabouts <\/em>also offers a walk in Leiden, Haarlem and Alkmaar. I provide guided tours in the Royal Palace and the Rijks Museum too. The stories need to be told and I&#8217;d be happy to take you on a tour as future cultural scientist! My purpose is to finish my study in 2015. My final dissertation will cope with Jewish entrepeneurs\/ musicians in Amsterdam during the Interbellum.<\/p>\n<p>Working with children and adults is a passion, just like developping myself, a <em>life long project.<\/em> I work as a Consciousness Coach\u00ae under the umbrella of\u00a0 <em>Abouts&#8217; <\/em>second part, <em>Talkabouts.\u00a0<\/em>In order to become a consciousness coach\u00ae, I did a beautiful course <a title=\"creativeconsciousness.nl\" href=\"http:\/\/creative%20consciousness\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Creative Consciousness<\/em>\u00a0<\/a> in Maastricht. And for the future I see more blossoms flowering on the tree of <em>Abouts,<\/em> like coaching children combined with art as painting, writing and music.
