I am Wieske, aged 47, and I am an accredited Consciousness Coach®. It means I’ve acquired an international diploma recognized by the ICF, the International Coach Federation. The recquired professional standards for coaching according to the ICF are at a high level.
I believe you can create your life by doing things which make you happy. I have been an English teacher at secundary schools since 2000. I started my company Abouts in 2008. I work from the heart. Teaching, guiding and coaching are my passions.
I knew I would create different parts of Abouts in time. The first part was Walkabouts, an organisation which provides citywalks, specialized in seven walks in Amsterdam. Walkabouts also offers a walk in Leiden, Haarlem and Alkmaar. I provide guided tours in the Royal Palace and the Rijks Museum too. The stories need to be told and I’d be happy to take you on a tour as future cultural scientist! My purpose is to finish my study in 2015. My final dissertation will cope with Jewish entrepeneurs/ musicians in Amsterdam during the Interbellum.
Working with children and adults is a passion, just like developping myself, a life long project. I work as a Consciousness Coach® under the umbrella of Abouts’ second part, Talkabouts. In order to become a consciousness coach®, I did a beautiful course Creative Consciousness in Maastricht. And for the future I see more blossoms flowering on the tree of Abouts, like coaching children combined with art as painting, writing and music. Watch out for Abouts!
